  1. Since the video began, I was thinking: "OK, but where is Vera?" And then Johann comes out with the tiny baby in his arms! Johann's hand was bigger that her body! And she didn't cry in his arms.
Marlin might be a bit more stressed out for quite a few months ahead, by all the novelty and emotional overload accompanying the birth of Vera into this world, on top of her normal life. She might possibly need some extra tender, love and care and support from Johann, for all this time.

Hello Johan and Malin …I was rewatching your recent episode of the new boat tour and noted how you mentioned you would be thinking of how to add more solar panels. Thought you might want to refer to link of how Distant Shores couple had their aft area solar arch made,, sure you have seen quite a few custom examples in your travels, but I remember watching one of their episodes a while back and noting that their custom design was a lot more streamlined and fit with the lines of the boat a lot more than some of the other fixtures and solar arches I have seen.

  3. really nice ship and not taking anything away from it , but for me , i like full hard tops and imo it just adds more to a boat for better living

  4. Interessting info about Ran and Ägir since I am living on a road named after one of their 9 daughters Kolga. I had nerver heard this story about these old viking gods.

  5. Fantastic boat! We have a Najad 370 from 1991, which is smaller but feels similar in a number of respects. One thing, the deck core is specified as divinyl foam as well, but unfortunately we discovered that the Najadvervet used balsa in the cockpit roof. (I opened up a part). When we will ultimately renew the teak deck, we will surely have to do some moisture measurements and perhaps replace the deck core in a number of places. Since I discovered the balsa in the roof of the cockpit, which goes against the specifications, I am now unsure of the core material in the decking..

Amazing isn't it that the boat you wanted would come right next to you God is so so good thank you Jesus I love your boat too

  7. Thanks for the guided tour of the exterior of RAN II. Excellent choice! Have you considered integrated solar panels in the sprayhood roof?

  8. I am a little behind in watching your videos and I am truly enjoying them. The two (three of you now) give a very great sense of tranquility and joy in what you are doing. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

  9. Nice, very nice. I don't see a cover on the genoa sail – is the sail fabric such that it does not need a cover to protect from UV rays, or is the lack of a cover 'just one of those things' you have not yet addressed?
Best of luck to all of you, you have a great channel, like a calming shower or satisfying nap, with the big plus of beautiful and interesting sites. Keep up the good work.

p.s. I cheated and looked ahead to the summer time videos and guess what – your baby gets more beautiful by the day.

  10. Hi you guys. We started watching your channel a few months back and really enjoy it. You two have really nice chemistry and you put out great videos. We’’ve been binging through our second and third wave lockdowns and are now to the point of welcoming Vera to the crew along with an awesome new boat. We’re so happy for you and will continue to follow. We’re also glad you enjoyed your time on Canada’s west coast. We have a keelboat and enjoy sailing the great lakes so we have some things in common. So a big congratulations from us.
