Great videos guys. Sailing in the Aegean comes with its challenges. Acceleration zones between islands and katabatic winds are to be expected. Reef early.
We’ve been away from our boat for two seasons now due to Covid. Hope to get back next year.
Sailing in 30 knots is common in the Aegean. It’s the sea state and your direction of travel that are of concern. Have fun!!

Having sailed with kids, being on deck when it’s rough usually to helps ease the seasickness. They need to be attached to a lifeline. My daughter always looked at rough seas like riding a wild horse. She would squeal when the big waves crashed over the bow.

Taken us ages to get around to watching this one, and worth the wait, some great footage. Like the music choices and volume…just right. Have to be on deck in those conditions but tricky with kids on board, but you all coped so well. Lovely island, well worth the trip, and we too would love the non-clicky vibe!
