I am very much looking forward to this technology maturing. Methanol fuel cells are optimum in every way, save one. As of yet, methanol production from clean energy sources remains significantly more expensive than the production of methanol from natural gas, and if such a fuel cell powered ship uses such methanol, it will 'not' be carbon neutral. That said, it remains far more benign to the local marine environment even if not being carbon neutral.
The owner of Bilgen Yachts has stated often that he believes nuclear power may be a viable option for yachts within the next decade. I presume Lurssen has given some thought to this and I would be most curious to know what they think of it.

I love that Lürssen Yachts is ahead of the game. So many people are mentally stuck on "battery only" that they don't see the negatives of this. I'm looking forward to seeing the all-fuel cell yacht when you have completed it.
