  2. Thank you from Fiji Islands 🇫🇯 .
Just saw your channel this morning and subscribe…
Great content…definitely alot of work and effort put into it….Wow..and amazing camera shots 👍.
Wow…wow..wow…Bless your family..Bless your Leadership…bless your journey…Bless your sailing with good health..safe passage…and enjoyable sail.

    Vinaka 🙏

  3. Have to agree with Ben regarding termanology and how crazy some people are about enforcing the "correct" terms. Absolutely understand need for clear communication between people, especially who aren't familiar with each other or their common gear in use. But, some people take it way too far. A couple could get a boat and sail around the globe ten times calling the whatsit a thingamajigi and it wouldn't make them less of a old salty sailor. Love to the family and so happy to see things going smoother.

  4. This is my current bread machine recipe. It does not have dairy. It is called, Best Bread Machine Bread, from Allrecipes. Thanks for your videos. It is such a nice escape.

    Ingredients

    1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

    2 tablespoons white sugar

1 (.25 ounce) package bread machine yeast

    ¼ cup vegetable oil

    3 cups bread flour

    1 teaspoon salt

    Directions

Place the water, sugar and yeast in the pan of the bread machine. Let the yeast dissolve and foam for 10 minutes. Add the oil, flour and salt to the yeast. Select Basic or White Bread setting, and press Start.

  5. Good luck with the voyage. People have been sailing that channel for hundreds of years with out charts and forecasts so Im sure you'll be ok. South African bread is also pretty good, even the cheap bread is still better than most places, and the food here is AMAZING and pretty cheap.

  6. I'll have to admit,,,I'm behind in my Nahoa watching,,,,,,seems last time I saw, you were in a 'broken boat' trying to get somewhere in the 'broke boat',,,,,and for us,,,late watchers,,,, appears you've got a better boat ! So,,,,could you perhaps give us 'late watchers' an update ? thanks

  7. Hi from Texas, Ben and Ashley! Amazing video again…I can't wait to catch up with yall every week!! The baitball….OMG…I watched it over and over until hubby teased me!! LOL!! AMAZING!! I've grown up on the Texas coast and have NEVER seen that!!
Ashley, I've JUST started using my bread machine again and it looks to be the same brand as yours. Love it. Without fail this white bread recipe rocks on a 2 lb/med crust setting:
2 lb loaf – put ingredients in in the order presented:
    1 1/2 Cups warm water
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil (optional), but I use 2 T real butter
    4 Cups all purpose flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Good luck and safe travels with your beautiful littles!! Hubby and I will be full time cruisers in about 6 months…maybe one day our paths will cross!

  8. 😊❤️Great video. I love all your videos even the real ones that show all your emotions. 😢😂😡🫣🤪😊
This video shows your joy at being back out on the water. 🌊We, the viewers, always have lots of opinions sitting here on our sofas. Like when your son was crawling fast towards the front, my first thought was I can’t believe they’re letting him do that. But, then, I could hear in Ben’s voice as he was talking that he was walk/running towards him. We all know our own kids and our own limitations so while it’s hard not to be armchair critics with the best of intentions, I for one, trust that you guys have got this! You are living your best lives and showing your kids a world most people will never get to experience. So, on that note, continue to enjoy the experience, be safe and listen to your gut!
Happy sailing and smooth winds. ⛵️

  9. Awesome, it looks like you guys are ready to roll. It must be hard to leave such a beautiful place in the Seychelles! All those fish, wow. Wishing you a safe passage and good winds, love you guys!

  10. That was AMAZING! Awesome! Yes, I really can appreciate that next passage… I think that sailing south down the coast of Western Australia in spring with large, steep swells upwind, with 25 to 30 knots (despite trying to pick 15 knot weather window) has prepared us well for future sails! We waited 3 weeks for our perfect weather window, but it was not ideal. But we made it and you will as well! Wishing you gentle constant winds and small, long period swells!
