Another brick in the wall. Or some more of them. Great work.
That was a tough job! But please buy yourself some safety shoes for the coming years… best of luck, enjoy all of it!
And the stairs are also good for sitting and sipping a cofee!
@ 11:08 I'm sure you were hoping that's how the entire job would have gone…….lol
Cheers from San Francisco
Amazing work area you are creating!
It will pay off during all the long hours spent work on Ran 50.
Vera is getting big, Malin. Pretty soon you won't be able to carry her anymore. Great video too. Can't wait for the next, and thank you for making us a part of your family. 🙂
Building a boat seems like a very ambitions project for two total amateurs. I admire your ambition. Good luck.
Take a look at "Duracell" project? They have a very best of the instrument to measure equal amount of resing and hardner? SAUNA would be still No 1 .
I love watching the barn come together!
When you sail past Australia, there is always a welcome and a need for great tradesmen, such as Johan is. With a project such as yours, the time taken for the build will be dependent on so many varying factors. Even with Critical Path Analysis, time management is normally a problem. So as an experiment, work out how long you expect to build the hull; move it to a slipway; and completely finish the boat ready for sailing sea trials. Calculate a total time. It would be interesting to see if the "3 times rule and at the extreme end the 5 times rule" in project management applies to your time calculations against the actual time to complete project. Much respect to you all. Cheers and beers.
Beautiful spot to build a boat.
Looking great!
I felt your pain on the brick wall and the dust blew my mind….love to all
I think it would be much better if you had built a ramp instead of steps
Sliding barn door would be simple and quick and cheap to build. What's going to be really cool is that your neighbors will hear from the farmer in the field the progress of your boat build. In time, people will sit in the field and watch as the boat comes together.

I’ve recently used leftover epoxy I originally bought during my boat build in 2004. 18 years later, I cannot tell any difference. Still sets the same, has same strength according to my tests and is functioning just the same on my new build. There you go. Not sure how many people can first hand say that about their epoxy
Well done
See you next week!
Cheers
Fields of green swells
Underbart fönster! Får man fråga var ni köpte dom ifrån? Vi har en loge där vi tänkte göra samma sak 🙂
I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M HAVING SUCH A GOOD TIME WATCHING YOU PREPARE THE BARN. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL SO YOU DON'T GET HURT. GOD BLESS!
great work – you've built steps before I think!
Great video what a blessing for you to build your boat in a beautiful old barn like that. What a great space
I enjoy & live with you in your nice place, Johan take care of the "brick", and a comfortable step is 180 mm!
It’s SO exciting!
Tape that vacuum to the grinder- or buy a jack hammer. No back injury at the start!
That's my next boat! Awesome. Right now I have a 10-foot Jon Boat. Gotta start somewhere! Thanks and Good Luck 🤩
Nice idea to make the steps so deep to have good footing when carrying heavy loads.
🙂
Very beautiful your work
An SDS hammer drill with a chisel bit might have helped.😉 I felt your pain.
Hard work beating the brick! I'm laughing, thinking about how hungry Johan must have been after that. Great video!
I really like being vicariously involved in your project. Keep up the good work.
Is there anything Johan can't do?….Answer: No..😎…..another terrific video 👍
Snälla gjut inte båten för hand utan använd stickytape och tillverka en vakumpåse. Risken är att ni inte får fibrerna tillräckligt våta och får då svagpunkter i ytan.
