Polish the hull? You haven't resorted to painting it, yet?
You really earn your support! The time and effort put into the productions is huge! Thank you!
Another great video, thanks.
Everything stops when I get the notification of a new episode.
Hey you two, thanks for the lovely videos! Regarding the mooring: We only have moorings where I live and we don't tie to the top ring, but to the ring below the buoy with a big shackle (to prevent chafing). The lines do have a bit of slack (1-2m) so they act kind of like a shallow anchor. The buoy tends to bang a lot more the higher the stick with the ring at the top is.
Thank you!!
The best sailing channel on YT . One of my close neighbours comes from Mozambique , she's gorgeous
Informative, beautiful and relaxing. Thank you once again.
♥️♥️🥰🥰
❤
Most excellent video. Stunning visuals.
Thanks for another great Ep and the tips on how you shoot waves. You do both very, very well.
Your channel gets better and better . Great work , Cheers
Well done! I appreciate all the effort you go into getting the great shots in these videos!
You guys are amazing ..I have been enjoying your vids for quite a while….
Another great episode
You definitely do some of the best cinematography out of the sailing channels👍👍
Thanks for the videos and your advice.
Can I ask a question about Florence's rig?
You have a removable inner forestay.
Is this mast head rigged without running back stays?
Do you have a stay sail and a storm sail? And where do you keep these when on passage?
Many thanks Simon
Thanks for the background on capturing waves – clearly I need to spend a lot more time and not sure how I'll convince myself to be on the leeward rail for photographic priorities rather than on the windward side for performance :-))
Being on a boat people tend you go for a wide angle lenses so as to get more into frame. Of course wide angle lenses with their wider angle of view, make the foreground bigger (ie deck and boat), and the background smaller ( sea and waves ).
Thank you for sharing your tips about how to shoot realistic sea states. So many times I have taken videos of waves that appeared enormous and when I view them back they look flat and unimpressive.
love the descriptions of your video shooting – I film skiing and am very new to attempting editing – its daunting with the software – how did you first learn editing? could you describe how you learned please? what changes have you gone through as you've gotten more experience?
Great video. As a photographer, I really enjoyed the behind the lens segment.
Well done
Amy, have you tried using a gimbal?? That should stabilize the camera but let the boat travel beneath the camera so you have boat movement but not camera movement.
Inspiring once again, Just watched a vlog where a Yacht is being given away. Plukky from Sailing into Freedom must of finally lost the plot!!
You continue to be my favorite sailing channel!! ❤
YOUR VIDEOS ARE BEAUTIFUL – YOU BOTH HAVE A REALLY NICE WAY ABOUT YOU. A ? WHAT KIND OF GOGGLES ARE GOOD
Jacques Cousteau…. "In order to stabilize world population, we must eliminate 350,000 people per day." Gettin' the frack scene situation yet, kids?
To stop the incessant mooring ball banging, try a stretchy snubber through your anchor roller. Or, I’ve seen someone use their spinnaker pole like a bowsprit with a stretchy snubber. The snubber is in addition to the normal lines.
Your filming and editing is so professional! Has the BBC or other TV channel approached you yet for a brand new travel programme?
Thank you very much for explaining how you get those amazing shots of the sea, I have been rubbish trying to capture sea state.
Just curious, what’s the date of the filming?
I love everything you guys do. Beautifully presented. ⛵️
Love the contents and information of your videos and must say you have the cleanest and best maintained looking boat, after 6,5 years at sea, of all the YouTube channel boats I have seen.. Well done. 👋👋
It is such a pleasure to watch your videos, thank you so much for this!
I know I am like a long-playing record, but I say again, absolutely mesmerised by your inspirational videos. Love them!
