  1. For a looper, the maximum overhead clearance that limits the height of your boat above the water is 19’ 6”. This boat is 23', so it will not fit under the Chicago bridge, unless the mast folds down.

  2. Well it is very comparable to a Nordhaven 43 from afar – priced at only about half to a third of what an N43 would cost- so I can see the appeal. Personally though it wouldn’t work for me for two deal breaker reasons: 1) the fact that there is no side access without going through the main cabins – this will make short handed docking a challenge if anything goes wrong. 2) and more importantly, you need to be a spelunker to access the engines no way I can get there and not be claustrophobic this will really be a problem for any major maintenance and will make routine checks a nightmare. Maybe if you are younger and that crawling is not a problem, but for me it’s sadly a deal breaker.

  3. What is the price ???? Does it have any generators I would guess it does since it is an elec. kitchen …. Tell me about the generators and does it have a water maker and does it have Air Cond. & Heating….

  4. Obviously it has twin Diesels-but what kind (Cummins?) what horsepower, what maximum speed (you need in emergency? What size generators?

  5. Great video! A very thorough walk-through. (I had to laugh at the final drone flyover where I watched the bilge pump suck the water back up! ;)) If I could suggest anything, it would be to spend more time opening the various hatches to access the mechanical systems. I'd like to have seen the floor in the main salon pulled up to see what engine access looks like from there. (I suspect that would be the "normal" method of performing maintenance – 'cause this old guy isn't crawling in on his hands and knees.)

  6. Wife and I toured this vessel the other day, it is in excellent condition, has Cummings engines and is priced at 360k. I suspect the boat will sell closer to 300-325k. While not for us, anyone looking for a solid mid 40 ft trawler should take a look.

  7. The design is not so clean or uncluttered as that on a Grand Banks or Nordhavn. The galley seemed a bit dated, but could be easily upgraded. The television being placed where it is seemed to take space away in the galley area when the separate area to the left that could be used for that. The use of space did seem a bit hit and miss which is a shame. There’s bits to like but overall it could be a better boat, it appears to be a busy boat and trying to do too much with the result being corners are cut. The Portuguese Bridge was ok but why no door? I don’t think I would want to spend more than a few days on this before it drove me mad. Sadly someone has tried to be clever and this boat is the result, it doesn’t excel at anything and will leave you with more questions than answers. The Baby Nordhavn 41 would be a better choice in my view and it would cross the Atlantic. Another alternative would be a Grand Banks 41/43 Heritage Europa, not an exploration vessel but well designed and thought out across all areas. It makes me wonder why folk settle for just average.

  8. Crawl space engine room?? The microwave, TV and breaker panel are mounted too low. The breakfast bar in the galley is a waste and reduces the counter space. Engine access, exterior walkways, stairway to below decks are unnecessarily narrow. What is the point of a Portuguese bridge? Much wasted space on deck.

  9. So many drawbacks with this particular boat , hull design looks good , then is spoiled by piss poor layouts , many poor fit out equipment choices , probably fine just to live on alongside, by a older retired owner, lots of difficult access and unsafe areas definitely dozens of much better choices available in the same size /class,

  10. Please stick to sailboats. Although these last few videos feature cool boats, they are not what many of us tune in to see.

  11. After traveling some 10k miles on the ocean I’d be concerned about over head grab rails very important while underway it’s a clean boat but crawling into that engine room underway could be problematic it’s a nice coastal boat but Selene beats this hands down

  12. Yet to watch the vid so am jumping the gun a bit but WHY Oh WHY dont the yacht YouTubers start with telling us what the boat is made of, seriously. One of the most important bits of information totaly ignored, so often. Although we are told that the boat feels very "boaty", very important of course.
