8. We learned this living for the past 2.5 years in our RV as well. Everything is amplified. If a family is ready like ours was, you can really learn a lot and become much closer through the experience. Great tool to grow if used correctly.

    Even more so when "trapped" on a boat days saiing from anywhere. It's not a good idea to take the dingy and "drive around the neighborhood" to blow off steam like you can on land with your car.

    I remember two separate incidents when in the US Coast Guard I got radio calls that one member of the family did this exact thing…with the dingy each boat had. One we found, one we never did. Not even the dingy.
