Team Holcim – Vela PRB se prăbușește din cauza unui știft defect, care le-ar putea opri speranțele de victorie. Între timp, celelalte echipe discută despre dificultățile de a naviga în apele agitate din sudul Norvegiei, pentru o ultimă împingere spre finalul din Aarhus. god damn they're fast….complain its bumpy all you like, its better than being outside underwater for 7 days
Great coverage. Can fully understand Kevin, beeing in this mood for a second before finding his unbreakable mood of "there is the problem… lets fix it!" again. Great race! Great teams!
Team Malizia are definitely the most fun crew in this race! Rosalin is a trip! 🙂
It's unbelievable they've lost a mast and they risk to lose another one on the same faulty rigging devices again! I can very well understand the seething rage Kevin is trying to suppress!
Glad to see one of the injured on 11th hour….can we get an update on the obr
please?
Head injuries could be a real problem is these boats, maybe protective head gear is going to be something for the future
Very nice to see reports from all boats!
Sailors and boats are really getting fatigued!
God's speed to all!
There may be words from Kevin to manufacturer of sail clips!
Even in a race you need to know where your limits are. Kevin is a single handed racer, and he should stick to that. I don't care if he is whining about some structural problems if he does not see that he is pushing the boat too much. Poor crew.
Lucky you were in flat seas and it looks like you slowed down to under 10 knots to deal with this.
Need to obviously re-design faulty things like the J3 hook up
Can't say I'm a fan of the double points…Thanks for the update🙂
Why does this leg award double points? It has around 4000 nm whereas the southern leg , which awarded double points too, had around 14500 nm.
The physical toll on the sailors on every team is quite pronounced this leg.
Amazing Endurance Athletes!
holy crap chuck & 11th is gonna win the ocean race!!!!! just checked and chuck is way out front holcim's sail collapsed – malizia is to far back to catch up and biotherm is way out. chuck hit a whale and injured 2 crew crazy crazy YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS chuck gonna win!!!!!! of course greenpeace may be after chuck – go chuck go!
At 1:37 you can see that Holcim has 2 pedestals. Is Holcim the only boat with 2 pedestals? I know 11th hour was built to be fully crewed.
Some boats are facing more challenges than others. Doing their best to finish. Others are almost there.
Can't deny that 11th Hour have found a sweet spot in sailing that boat well.
Hey Rosalin…04:44 up and down, not port to starboard…!
See damientelle reply explaining standardized parts & difference in fix by Malizia.
