  1. Prices are now beyond good and evil when you consider how many normal properties you can get in comparison.

  2. Carbon Fiber is much cheaper today than it used to be, so no expense was spared with this boat clearly.
Have never seen such dreadful staff accommodations. I would think this would be a difficult boat to staff unless the guest cabins are at their disposal almost 100%.

  3. Lovely mature Lady of the Sea. Love the carbon fibre floor and wood contrast. Guests and the crew are well taken care of. Fab boat and this is a great special for your channel. Waiting for the next one.

  4. Love this boat. Absolutely beautiful. I’m a lover of sail boat romantics, but it’s rare for one to actually pique my interest. As usual, great tour! Thanks, Nick for another few minutes of heaven.

  5. What a beauty, considering she is 20 years old. Not a bad price though, my only worry is that odds are the insurance company is going to want the next owner to redo all the rigging- especially if it’s not been replaced since 2008.

  6. Beautiful but def not a racing boat lol! Way to much waste/weight for that. The decks aren’t right , seating/steering isn’t right for race tacking/jibing etc but a great luxury boat for cruising! It’s like a Beneteau grew up lol

  7. This will be very useful once the climate wars start and we need a fast moving house.

  8. She's a rather nice yacht NIck. As you say designed for serious sailing with a lot of comfort. Nice heavy catches on the doors to keep them closed. Two helm positions for each tack when well heeled over. You can imagine the water rushing along the side of the decks in a good fresh wind ! Something struck me as you went forward into the cabins and the ensuite heads. It germinated a bit and sprouted when you showed the master cabin. Two bunks so you can sleep on the downward side of the hull. Thats posh.
But a serious question had formed in my mind. Its the heads and the absence of visible grab handles for carrying out natures requirements when heeled over on a hard tack struck me. Some things don't even wait for the sea. We're used to nice relatively flat running powerboats. A certificate in gymnastics to maintain throned would possibly be a help I imagine. Or a gimbled floor, which is impractical.
I was lucky to travel on the QM2 on a cruise off North America about twelve years ago, and we had some very bad weather off Canada. A couple of days of force 10/11 35-40 foot swells. A great experience in a way, to see what those Atlantic convoys of the1940's had to put up with in the winter. But even 150,000 tons bounces about in rough weather and though my problems were minor, venturing to the cabin heads at 4 am was an amusing dance and holding on an experience. And I'd do it again. Nice to see a Sailing boat for a change, they have some really nice stowage ideas.

  9. Refitted 5 years after being built and then not in the last 15 years.
One heck of a good job on the 2008 refit. Who did it?

  10. Apologies. I've been subscribed and watching for over a year but only recently made 2 comments. So here goes.
Love both the Charter Trip's with Paul & Victoria. Actually watched them numerous times.
Also watched the Galeon videos numerous times. My daughters would love 470 Sky. Or larger (tee hee).
Nick & Marianne – You bring Joy to me when I watch your videos😊❤

  11. Please tell me I'm not the only one to almost nod off as that soothing music was playing in the background. Nick, did you have a quick nap on the foredeck sun lounger?

  12. Amazing ! If you started the tour from the inside, you'd never know this is a sail boat. That galley is massive, really love the owners suite too ! Confused about the crew area, did that go through the shower (weird) I'll replay to see. Thank you !!

  13. I was amazed by this when it came out – out of reach for me of course. But I am just amazed now how cramped it is inside at 94 ft! Any Jeanneau 50 is more comfortable.

  14. As an avid motorboater who bought a sailing boat last year, this is perfection for me….let’s see more yachts and see if more people follow the trend!

  15. You having a bad hair day or something, Nick? Where's the Wave? 🙁
I do generally like sailing yacht interiors, and this should have been really nice, but there's just something about the whole design all that feels quite detatched…

  16. This boat is a great example of the saying.." just because you can doesn't mean you should"

  17. That was a 'loverly ship'. The carbon floors need soft mats, which aren't shown in a show.Duh.(not for you Nick, but peeps complaining).I do wonder why you'd spend $3.25 Million for a great ship, yet waste a room to hold an hexagon wrench, instead of a $.25 cent clip on the wall next to the door where needed? 😉 Due to vent slats,I'm guessing there's washing machines there too.?.
