🤠👍
Yeah. The burning of the sugar cane fields is a menace. Tranquil Florida live.
Going to a Marina in Fort Pierce, wasn't an option, to step down mast ?
Safe travels! ❤️
I hope you get the mast fixed. Thx for bringing us along. 😊😊😊 John Ken
Wacky wavy inflatable arm flailing tube man
Don't step the mast yourselves!! Let the professionals do it
We just put two sailboats on either side, and use the main halyard on the outer boats to lift the mast of the center boat at the spreaders. Then just lay it down on your mast supports.
Tick tock….
😃👍👍👍❤
I love your vids, also from Florida. Buying a new boat this winter but clueless about sailing, always been a power boat guy. If you ever need a noob to mentor I'm game.
Awesome trip!
You should hook the mast to that RR bridge easy peasy to lower the mast on its way down🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What you saw that looks like a fence is private dockage on the inside
Love y’all’s videos, it is amazing how much work it takes to keep her afloat! But y’all are such hard workers always fixing things and not taking short cuts getting it done! Great job safe travels!!!!
Beau is always creating crazy things that are pure genius!!!! I like watching him work he is awesome!!!!!
At the end, a link popped up to watch from the beginning….230 videos!!!! Wow!! Can you believe it??? Awesome!
Also, I was marveling at how far you have come….literally… I was wondering how much normal people pay for diesel for all the miles that you have covered! You have had some truly amazing adventures on a shoestring budget!!!
🐊🐊⛵⚓⛵👍👍✔✔
Awesome video y’all.
😎
What made the boat ook like it was about to tip over?
I wouldn't want to sleep in the back yard living on the river with all the gators LOL …hope you get everything fixed soon and get back to safe sailing…stay safe 😃
Had to pop over to add more likes and pump up the algorithm. Have a great week you two.
Great video guys, I'm intrigued to find out what Beaus plans are for your mast, he generally comes up with a very workable solution from his outside the box thinking. Your Country Mediterranean dish looked great too, I usually like chef specials like that where the contents of the fridge is involved. Stay Safe & Fair Winds!!
Ohhhhh thank you !!!!
I was waiting and waiting!!
You just fixed the mast step???? How can it sink?
Why don't you guys find a NICE 40 footer!?!!?!
Sirsha needs to go to a nursing home!
Great video
You two were one of the big inspirational motivators for me to cruise full-time I love you guys I hope our paths cross eventually
I tnink a little sterling silver Jerry can of sunshine would be good merch!!!$$$
Find a tree that overhangs the water. Throw a line over the limb and step it yourself. Yes it will move slightly, It’s only 120# . tie your line half way up the mast, loosen the bolts and do it. Use a clove hitch, or I’m sure somebody else will provide a better knot. Do it and be done! You guys can do it.
Y’all are such great planners!! Arriving 4 days early, that is exactly how I would have estimated my timeline.
I saw a guy use a bridge to drop his mast and bring it back up. Free, but it was somewhere in the boonies
20A draw from 48v battery ? 960Whr …. if i recall correctly you have 18kwhr capacity…i'll assume half is usable…so 8-9hrs of motoring ?
3kts gives me 27 – 54 kts range ??
then later you state max 133A draw with the 6kts …..hummmm
nice use of the PV-panels…..guessing it can add 1.2-2.4kWhr on a good day
I saw a great mast lift. Kind of looked lile a train bridge. 🙂
Champion Marine at the east end of the Merritt island barge canal by port canaveral is home to Beyel cranes. Perfect place to step a mast.
I'm curious. Why do you insist on making your life difficult with your cobbled together electric power?
🙂⚓.
Thanks for bringing us along for the slow sail. Good job on the show.
What a trip!
I am surprised that you and other youtubers do not use there mainsail more ( Its called that for a reason). Particularly with a hank on jib. You can point closer to the apparent wind with the main than you can with a jib when you motor sail.. I have sailed for over 50 years so I am not a novice. Not the place for more discussion . Contact me if you like.
Nice to see you out of your artic coat's and hats.😁 l thought you had the mast problem solved? It would make me think about a soft keel, just a thought. I will have to wait until next week. Always enjoy your videos. Be safe. 😻⛵🇺🇸
