  1. It's a decent tender, I suppose 🙂
Nice looking design, it certainly looks the part. I might just be thinking small but I think I prefer an open salon with galley etc. The moment you make it into a 'slave' ship or galley as it were, you loose a large portion of the ship and much becomes closed off. Modern amplifiers need little power to make a lot of sound so I'm surprised they needed a bigger generator. A million pounds does sound pricey but if there is some development work involved it can get expensive fast. Also some larger boats tend to make the bow feel fairly commercial so it doesn't feel like a luxury lounging area. Maybe for prestige or posturing reasons but it can then clash with attempts to use it for lounging. So it sort of becomes dead space in practice. This boat isn't bad but it has a little bit. The beach club area might also never see use although it could be one of several party nooks where smokers coalesce or some such 🙂
Looks like a starlink dish on the front of the upper deck. Pretty obvious capability for yachts but alas they sadly overcharge a lot for luxury use. Otherwise a no brainer for boat use but it's priced so prohibitively compared to any other use. For no reason.

  2. Nice to see a larger yacht. Amazing how the only real difference between a 45 meter and a 30 something meter is the size of all the cabins and public areas. Still just 5 cabins.

  3. Nice ride – BUT gimmie a 75 – 90 foot Nordhavn all day everyday. It’s all the yacht I’d ever need for me and my family. I mean, really, I like music too but 1.35 million Dollars 💵? Nah!

  4. That was one of the most stressful videos I’ve ever watched…. As nice as the boat was, all the people milling about in every nook and cranny made me want the tour to be over asap…

  5. Awesome tour of an exceptional yacht as usual Nick. Lots of unique features and design not to mention the sound system worthy of a Taylor Swift.

  6. The more I look at yachts like this, and Catamarans I might buy to live on, the more I value simplicity. I will treat myself to a watermaker, but, hydraulics, crazy sail systems, dagger boards, stereo systems, etc I can live without. The less that owns me the better.

  7. Always love your videos Nick and of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I’m my personal opinion the only stunning thing about this boat was the price. Sadly, a massive music system is the equivalent of the Ford Focus thumping bass down your road. Imagine mooring next to that racket? The decor was a mix of chincy light drapes, and tacky 1980’s hotel marble, quite horrible. Money can’t buy you class or style. Excellent your thought under pressure, well done and thanks.

  8. Good job on The Wave™, Nick.
I used to love tours of all these big yachts, but the more I see nowadays, the more I think it's just too much. I'm starting to find my line drawn at Owner-Operator level. This would be lovely, especially a full custom job, though.

  9. Mindblowing yacht. But just one query.
The saloon relative to the overall yacht is ALMOST "modest" in size.
I wonder what yachtbuilders don't have a HUGE main deck with saloon, dining area, galley, bridge and the an auxillary cabin (which doubles as a saloon area somehow) all able to blend into one huge area.
It would give a yacht an incredible feeling of space. And wouldn't actually require much more space to do.

  10. A real "wow factor" boat. So much to see, and I thought you did an exemplary job navigating around the multitudes of people touring it along with you. Well done as always Nick.
