4. This case is just so sad and Carrol was too beautiful for that monster, Patricia is just as psycho as Russell and deserved one another. Hope Sam is healing from all that pain, best thing is to forget about monster dad as trying to get him to be human for once in his life will be nothing but more pain.

5. Sam cried so much in this documentary just shows the overwhelming guilt for not supporting her mother when she was bullied and tortured by her father. This guilt will surely stay with her till the day she dies. And it is strange that all those years she had not an ounce of love for her mother and instead ganging up with her father.
