1. I sure know how to get my self into trouble,,,, and I have faith in my trusty diesel engine. However im not sure I'm smart enough to start it in time. (Or so my wife tells me)
Fantastic sailing video once again Kevin.
    Best regards from Jarle

  2. This channel is a rare treat among the many formulaic 'sailing' channels around today. It's Eric Aanderaa's tag line in practice: no bullshit – just sailing. No vain 20-30 something pointing a camera up her nose talking about feelings. No make-believe weather window we 'wait' three months for, then complain about the experience of sailing when it does come. (when our visas expire) On an honest to God blue water boat with proper lines. No engine, no push button sailing, no spastic 'made for TV' editing full of music and sound effects and wiki page narratives. Just a man and his craft, the way it should be.

  3. I have sailed in Nova Scotia the last decade and one thing I have learned. The wind forecasts are never accurate. Not bad for direction but off many times on wind strength. Loving the videos!

  4. So wonderful to see my familiar waters in Nova Scotia being navigated by an expert like Kevin, By the way, if you're back in Ship Harbour some time and need a hidey-hole, Long Cove on Wolfe Island (on the chart you showed) is great. We were in there during some untidy weather a few years back and barely felt a thing.

  5. Kevin has went this far without an engine, why get one now. Just another maintenance item. I like purist sailing he does. He always has Mr. Tohatsu for those calms. Keep on trucking Kevin. You heading down to Puerto Rico?

  6. Oh I wish I had known you were there, I'd have brought you a case of beer! Yup, lots of rocks and ledges around there. That beach you passed on Wolfe's Island is spectacular, but the entrance to it's bay is kinda sketchy…

  7. Hi Kevin..you don't have to worry about the cold narly N Atlantic now. I say you should be cuddled up to a hot young island girl. I know that I would be!Lol 😊 Stay safe!

  8. After watching your channel, Kevin, I don't think I'll be able to reach for the key on my diesel without some degree of shame. As always, it's a pleasure to see what you're up to. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how you extricated yourself from the pitiless jaws of the Atlantic Maritimes.
