Its a Faff but those lights have lasted well that's a job worth doing. I used to have a Tilly type light you can get a battery or usb with a switch to dim. On a small hook mid cabin always thought it was cozy saving putting the lights on also if your anchor light goes in a crowded area just hoist it on a halyard at least you have a light to be noticed. Those winter jobs always seem more than in the spring ruddy rain we're having. Your getting some jobs done that needed sorting your be in good fettle by spring.👍
I'm enjoying watching the progress of the repairs on this great little boat. It will be great to see her fully restored to your liking and ready to sail again in the warmer weather. You'll need to fit a bird box to it now though lol.
next job get a 300ah lifepo4 battery and some solar panels and victron 100/30 smart solar and you will have enough energy to be self sufficient
I think it would be a good idea to remove the head lining as it can hold a multitude of problems,ie leaking deck fittings. Pain of a job but worth having a look 👍 Good luck with the winter jobs ❤️
