We’re using WhatsApp video to keep in touch with our children (mothers and fathers of our grandchildren!). One of them lives less than a mile away, but we can’t go there! You do get tossed around a lot in that little boat! I guess you’re using a gimbal. I have an Osmo pocket with a built-in gimbal. Tiny camera,but very easy to drop, not recommended on a boat!

Well that was an adventure. Nice winds there for a bit. Yes the virus has kinda turned the world upside down. Canada doe have some horror stories but USA has more.

Young husband in my area age 47 has wife & 4 yr old daughter.
He got fever so he self isolated himself. Within 3 days he was dead !

Thanks for the post. I am super grateful to live-a-board my sloop as it is one of the few ways I can 'social distance' and enjoy what I love. I am happy to be exploring the Puget Sound here in North America/Canada but that footage of Tasmania was amazing! Oh, thanks for the tip on dragging the halyard while reefing, I will try this.

Really enjoy watching your vids as I work away in the office. I always dreamed of buying a 30 Ft + sailboat and living your life, but my life got in the way. Now at 69 with a pacemaker, I have the $ to buy a sailboat, but I just couldnt do it physically. I now live vicariously through you two. I prefer your vids over the others, because your video's make me feel the most like I am there, your "go cam" sways to neutral as the boat pitches back & forth and I almost feel like I am sailing with you. I dont watch the click bait sailing vids , and the others dont have your signature. Thanks for posting your life ongoing.

I had to laugh when you mentioned the gannets fancying your lure. I’ve never had much luck fishing but one of the first things I caught when dragging a lure was a seagull. Like flying a kite off the back of the boat. When the boat speed picked up one of its wings would fold under the stress and it would pirouette down and then fly back up when the speed decreased, the seagull repeated this several times until It finally let go or became unhooked. Poor thing ! Great videos. Keep up the good work.
