Fab sounds as ALLWAYS
Bit concerned about the lack of PFDs and tethers when in higher winds, increased seas, etc. Same with lack of flotation device in dinghy even tho not off shore. Rule on the boat is we put on PFDs when the boat starts moving. Just a habit and don’t even think about it any more. Tethered in and no one goes forward alone at night or rough weather in day. Someone else asked about PLB usage which is certainly a good idea to check into. But….beautiful sailing and great music. Letting a bit of wind spill might keep the crew feeling safer and really not cost much in VMG. More experience sure does minimize some of the fears.
