I think I may have a new favourite boat on my wish list. As Toby (might) say, "ticks a lot of boxes". The hull & sheer are stunning, interior looks really well set up. Can't wait for a performance update.
She's pretty – how does having equal square footage (main v jib) affect performance? And a plywood hull? Seems to be an outlier for modern boats.
This or a JPK 45 ? — I still think the JPK edges it slightly.
Beautiful design, gorgeous interior. I guess she needs to be sailed with speed to make her movements comfortable. Is she set up to be sailed with speed by a cruising couple, would cruisers not prefer some shelter from wind and waves from behind when not on full speed ? Are the winches to be made electric? How about the anchoring and storage of a dinghy ? Or she not intended for cruising but for racing ?
Now why can't they do hulls that clean in aluminum?
Perfect
Many good features, but can't understand these semi-raised saloon boats without raised seating where you still can't see out. I'd rather have one or the other, low and sleek or a real pilot house / raised saloon.
I LOVE this boat. The lines make it look very fast when sitting still. Interior is modern, light and bright. Just LOVE IT!!
Does the hull have designed in wavyness or is that just a construction method artifact? Probably need sunglasses on while in the interior.
I wonder what that cast iron grid will look like in 20 years?
You had me up to the "twin keel" part. Think id be doing a runner over to the J stand and ordering a J45 after that
Did I understand correct RM 1380 has hull grp ply core but solid grp deck? If so why?
Great forward visibility for the solo sailor when in the galley, looks like a fast boat with clean bright interior.
Are you fookin with me?An all white interior, its beyond bizarre, does it come with a crew of smokin hot femme bots so all I have to do is kick back and experience an almost AI level of satisfaction.Just goes to show, there is nothing that given enough time ,white folks can't strangle the life out of! Ah shucks,I'm just kidding, its bbbb beautiful.Performance aside, that is the most soulless sailboat interior I've ever seen,Life expectancy of that boat, probably 20yrs or less,Just in case all you sailor geniuses have not figured it out yet the only material to use for making sailboats at this stage of the game is Aluminum for what should be obvious reasons.
This is definitely not a ocean crossing boat.
Love the twin keel option.
