Thank you for your film! I enjoyed your style very much…not much chatter over the sailing scenes and plenty of them. I am not a fan of face only sailing channels; I want to see what it's like at sea!
Thanks again (me stepping off my rant soapbox).

  2. Congratulations to the good ship Landfall and her crew on a completion of an epic journey to Aotearoa.
Loved the videography and narration, so well put together.
Look forward to following along with your continued travels here in BC. Cheers

  3. Spent over thirty year’s commercial boating and you know now it’s not all diamonds I would often past the small boats and decided very early never doing that 😱
Now in my older years sticking to coastal sailing.
    Everyone to their own.

  4. Raw fish is barbaric. Your ancestors developed fire for multiple health benefits. Try and honour them occasionally.

  5. What an incredible experience. I had to watch it three times to take it all in. Memories of bonding & learning to trust in your boat, your rigging, your sails and the realization that you are actually at the mercy of the magic of the ocean, it was so wonderfully captured on video. I too have been in the galley for a couple of days with the same thoughts as Allison but fortunately came through at the end with a sense of accomplishment and belonging to that special group of "dock rats" who feel more comfortable on water than on land or air.Very well done , all of you. Thank you for allowing us in. Here's to many more adventures. ❤

  6. Thanks for the great video, but just a question on your route. What was the advantage of going so far north? I thought it would be easier and quicker aiming for north South Island. Hope to follow in your footsteps in the next couple of years.

  7. Wow, you guys are so brave! I am so glad you guys are safe. Seeing the large waves and the steering wheel move on its own was cool to see. Those moments with the dolphins, so beautiful! Amazing job filming and editing as always. I'm also glad that you got to celebrate your birthday and the waters were calm enough!

  8. I love the way you tell a storey I fell like I was with you on your trip .Looking forward to your next voyage fair winds an followlng seas

  9. The video was really good right up to the point you have to watch an old couple show naked. Really that was unnecessary. lol.

  10. Have crossed the Tasman twice- once in a horrible storm and it lived up to its reputation of one of the most gale strewn bodies of water in the world.Excellent video and nice to see a crossing in a well equipped boat instead of a 1.5 million cat!

  11. This was my childhood dream but when I was 20 a drunk driver hit me on my Harley and it broke my neck and paralyzed me from my shoulders down I’m 44 now and stuck in a bed and chair if you have a dream do it now because we’re not promised tomorrow 🤙⛵️

  12. Your video is expressing the live on oceans, big or smaller boats..the swell specially down south can be intense…experienced the 'rouring 40's' from South Africa to Melbourne…not funny even on a reasonable size merchant vessel odds can be challenging…..Kudos…..an old marine engineer 🙂

38 For as in those days before the flood,
they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,
until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away,
so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Praise Yahweh, our creator, our savior, and through the flesh as Christ our kinsman redeemer.
