Thank you for your film! I enjoyed your style very much…not much chatter over the sailing scenes and plenty of them. I am not a fan of face only sailing channels; I want to see what it's like at sea!
Thanks again (me stepping off my rant soapbox).
Nicely filmed and edited, nice journey, cool experience!
Congratulations to the good ship Landfall and her crew on a completion of an epic journey to Aotearoa.
Loved the videography and narration, so well put together.
Look forward to following along with your continued travels here in BC. Cheers
The tuna looked like a bonita. Definitely not a bluefin
Spent over thirty year’s commercial boating and you know now it’s not all diamonds I would often past the small boats and decided very early never doing that 😱
Now in my older years sticking to coastal sailing.
Everyone to their own.
Epic! Awesome crew, love the double teaming.
You got out of Yaringa!! Congratulations! That can be vortex 🙂
Brilliant, congratulations!
Great adventure. Thank you for sharing.
Raw fish is barbaric. Your ancestors developed fire for multiple health benefits. Try and honour them occasionally.
Great episode guys! So stoked for you!!! Keep ‘em coming 👍
What an incredible journey! I can only imagine how good that land looked. Well done!
Fantastic cinematography with perfect editing, this passage is one you shouldn't miss.
Good video well done. BTW southern most point of Australia is South Cape Tasmania.
pro video. exc music
What an incredible experience. I had to watch it three times to take it all in. Memories of bonding & learning to trust in your boat, your rigging, your sails and the realization that you are actually at the mercy of the magic of the ocean, it was so wonderfully captured on video. I too have been in the galley for a couple of days with the same thoughts as Allison but fortunately came through at the end with a sense of accomplishment and belonging to that special group of "dock rats" who feel more comfortable on water than on land or air.Very well done , all of you. Thank you for allowing us in. Here's to many more adventures. ❤
Thanks for the great video, but just a question on your route. What was the advantage of going so far north? I thought it would be easier and quicker aiming for north South Island. Hope to follow in your footsteps in the next couple of years.
That is my dream boat the you got to sail on. She will take care of you in the worst of conditions.
Good video
Defenetly not a bluefin tuna that was a bonito
Wow, you guys are so brave! I am so glad you guys are safe. Seeing the large waves and the steering wheel move on its own was cool to see. Those moments with the dolphins, so beautiful! Amazing job filming and editing as always. I'm also glad that you got to celebrate your birthday and the waters were calm enough!
Cant find your parents' channel
I love the way you tell a storey I fell like I was with you on your trip .Looking forward to your next voyage fair winds an followlng seas
Very well done video, great job by the CPT and crew, I enjoyed riding along. I love the Shannon 37.
Absolutely beautiful! Just amazing…!!
Wonderful. Thank you.
Wilson's prom might be the furthest south of the North Island but it's not the furthest south of the mainland TASMANIA
The video was really good right up to the point you have to watch an old couple show naked. Really that was unnecessary. lol.
Have crossed the Tasman twice- once in a horrible storm and it lived up to its reputation of one of the most gale strewn bodies of water in the world.Excellent video and nice to see a crossing in a well equipped boat instead of a 1.5 million cat!
I ENJOYED IT
80% hydration pizza dough on day 3, this guy knows what he's doing.
I wish Shannon was still in business.
That is one exceptionally well maintained and updated ship!! Thanks for bringing us along.
Such a venture. What a great hour video. Thank you sooooo much.
You are on one of the Best built boats in the world!
WOW SAILORS,
This was my childhood dream but when I was 20 a drunk driver hit me on my Harley and it broke my neck and paralyzed me from my shoulders down I’m 44 now and stuck in a bed and chair if you have a dream do it now because we’re not promised tomorrow 🤙⛵️
Wow! This was absolutely stunning…& gut-clenching! Thanks for having us aboard ❤
Your video is expressing the live on oceans, big or smaller boats..the swell specially down south can be intense…experienced the 'rouring 40's' from South Africa to Melbourne…not funny even on a reasonable size merchant vessel odds can be challenging…..Kudos…..an old marine engineer 🙂

Nice footage guys. You managed to get the feeling across. Quite a trip eh? See you again.
OMG that is such a beautiful boat…..she made me want to leave my wife for a second and go be married to the sea!!
As a owner of a Shannon 38 it was nice to see Shannon out and in the wild. Very nice video.
That was an amazing trip!!!you did a great job of making us feel like the fifth crew member 😊I’m sure there were moments of fear and also of feeling nature’s power at its best!Definently a trip you will never forget for the rest of your life’s🙏🙏❤️❤️
