1. Ahh the old exhaust manifold & riser corrosion trick. Sadly people who own inboards don't realize they corrode from the heat & salt internally, but look good externally. Both parts should be checked and if need be replaced every 5 years depending on usage. What happen to your engine is as the riser became blocked it prevented the engine from venting the water / heat as the flow becomes restricted and will warp your head. Blown engine! When installing a new or rebuilt engine, replace ground to engine, all fuel lines, etc. For those who don't know, never install car parts you risk a fire. this would include air intake, starter, carburetor, fuel pumps, etc.. Boat engines versus auto. Sorry not the same cam shafts, boat engines run at a higher RPM, Spark plugs something. Finally is that cheap part worth it or should you buy OEM….cheap is good if you like breaking down and turning a wrench while boating. If you buy a boat….be smart either have a lot of money for repairs in your account or know how to fix an engine.

  2. Not a yacht. They're called clutches not transmissions. disconnect the 4 bolts on the coupling, loosen the packing on the through-hull the shaft will slide out. Those couplings align with-in 0.004

  3. If an engine hydrolocks and then you try to fire it up using the starter, you won't break anything. The starter doesn't have enough torque to bend a rod on the crankshaft. In that case you can remove the plug(s), turn it over to get the water out, and then fire it up.
Of course if that happens again, you've got bigger problems to deal with…

  4. The old saying among boat owners: They are only happy twice during ownership. The day they buy it, and the day they sell it.
Good to see the work continuing on the yacht.

  5. You want to take you out lol!! what people forget is this channel generates revenue for you the longer we watch and hear all the stuff that you say the more money you make yes, you might take some people out your friends, your family, maybe do a raffle of a guest or two from your channel, but it’s not for profit it’s entertainment purposes stop making it look like it’s such a charity bro

  6. Dude, you have some serious issues with that giant "hole-in-=the-water".

    1. WHY why why isn't this thing INSIDE a warehouse or building somewhere? If it were, you could work on it day/night, 24/7, rain or shine. And lock the door at the end of the night without having to "button up the hatches" everytime.
    2. Those motor mounts NEED to be cut off from the motor. All that rust makes that job waaay more difficult. Those mounts are epoxied into the structure of the hull, best the get those engines out of the way first. Use a right-angle grinder with a cutoff disc, or a welder's acetylene torch, or a reciprocating saw with a metal cutting blade to cut those things free.
    3. those transmissions need to be separated from the flywheel(s). Unbolt the bell housing. Unbolt the torque converters from the flywheel(s)l. You'll need a pry bar, Big Bertha, or somethin.
    4. unbolt the U-joint from those prop driveshafts.
    5. Erect/install a metal A-frame ABOVE the motors with a pulley system or electric winch on a cross-bar so as to lift those "soon-to-be-artificial-reefs" out of there.
    6. Use the forklift as a final step.
    7. Rinse/Repeat for the other one.

Looking forward to see more of your videos.
