Fair Winds and following seas Trade Runner is flying along mate
2nd Watching now.
Loved this one Vernon, Trade Runner is certainly a flyer with the right conditions!
Wow. That boat really suits your style!
Random question, Why do you talk about distances in miles and not KMs?
Top shelf Vernon. Thanks mate.
Really nice episode ! 😘
We sailed up through the Barrier Reef in a 50ft monohull in the 70s as part of a 5yr circumnavigation. It was some of the hardest sailing we did. It seemed always dead downwind, everytime we went around a headland the wind followed. The only navigation aid we had was a depth sounder and sextant. Going through narrow reef passages was pretty stressful. To have had the speed of a cat would have been a good help.
Thanks for the update, Take care mate.
Vernon, this was a real ripper. I enjoyed the Doppler radar on screen explanation of watching the approaching weather system and the reason for the sail change. Once again, learning by doing. Thanks for the lesson. Love to Marie. ❤
Man that things fast. Glad to hear Marie is doing well. Catch up soon.
Vernon, as a man around your age I myself feel big and tired all the time… do you think I might be pregnant too? 😁
Good to see Vernon, you're enjoying the fruits of your hard labor from re-rigging to visiting the slips for repairs and antifouling,. The radar screen you pointed to looks very helpful,. Tool what brand and model is it.? Wishing wonderful navigational experience. SV Skoiern IV
Just about turned it off when John said ropes
Wind between land are bullets they get squeezed
Ha… yessss Vernon! Let her rip mate! So stoked to see you guys flying again pal…🤙
just since you always advertise vesslefinder. i only find your current position on marine traffic. vesslefinder is stuck on august 9th (north of cairns). or am i wrong here?
Vernon _ i know these videos are delayed – but John might be interested in these little beauties – they do make a Cat 1 ocean cruising version = https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2eKrxWDzT4&t=3s
Great episode, thanks Vernon.
Really good one, Vernon! And Marie: Relax. Vernon’s the one who needs to move right now.
Good speed, didn't seem to donkey, fun with trim performance challenge. You seem to attract (or select), silver head crew, vs some sexy thumbnails. Being a good boy for Marie, or is she selecting them😜
Loved the thumbnail and wild hair ! Stay safe and keep being yourself. 👍
What's that orange thing hanging off of the line underneath your back deck cover?
Nice. the miles just fade away
