Doesn't your caulk gun have a pokey deal under the far end? Also, no need to cut the end of the tube – stickit in the hole in the handle and pull the trigger.

Did you know the hole in the caulk Gun handle is for cutting the tip on cartridge, some guns also have a metal stem on handle to puncture the seal 😊

In case your knife goes awol or is too dull to cut there's a neat little hole in the handle grip of those caulking guns. Just stick the tube's plastic tip through that hole and squeeze the trigger. It'll snip the end off for you. 🙂

Congrats. We have been showering on svIslandSpirit inside in the head since 2001. I recommend you add a hand shower hose and a simple seat. That way we can shower offshore under sail. Plus the hand held shower hose works well. Congrats guys…..
