Wait, I thought accountants were good with maff. Add "Smart Plugs" to your list of boat stuff from civilization. Put a surge protector in your shore power cord. Make sure your shore power to main breaker is properly sized. Scary looking wires Like fire kind of wires. Add up you loads, and you may find your service wires and breakers are way under sized for what you have NOW, not for when the boat was made and need to be redone. Should be OK from panel downstream as long as you sized the wire properly for the new charger and the AC and also the water maker. Lovely videography and editing as usual. Stay cool, don't die in a fire please. Being urgent not harsh if that makes sense. And unless you got hit with lightening at the dock it's not a power surge.

We were in San Diego for Hillary. A lot of rain and very little wind. The fishing was terrible in the bays.

But if you had to vote, I think I like the San Blas better than Sea of Cortez which has the bees, currents and extreme heat. Hope all is going well. Hi Bill and Grace, It is also possible there was some corrosion on the Shore power plug, it could be corrosion on the female or the male plug, corrosion will heat up the plug conductor pieces and often leads to run away heat and melting of the plug. You can only inspect the male plug and perhaps use sandpaper to make the prongs shiny, the female side is hidden and the only thing you can do is carry spares. A 30A plug and dialing the current down to 20A is a good strategy, big cheers, Francine and Peter

Wicked super awesome time in Annapolis once again this year YA BABY !!! This is my 3rd boat show so I've met a lot of people and have been to my fair share of Patron meetings. Calico Skies has the best Patrons of all the meetings I've been to. I've developed many good friendships here and it's wonderful hanging out with everyone each year.
