To make docking easier for you and avoid having to jump onto the pontoon/dock learn how to do a two handed lasso onto the dock cleat, ideally at midship. But DO NOT ever try to stop the yacht this way as that's the captain's responsibility. Also, if you must jump then only do so when the yacht has come to a complete stop. Much too dangerous otherwise! 😘

Amber, being a little nervous about docking is probably better than getting complacent. It just means you want to get it right. As a fellow pilot I’m sure Shawn will tell you it’s right when you get too relaxed that errors and mishaps happen and humble you. Another great video!
