După ce a așteptat UN AN pentru a ne primi postul de compresie înapoi după ce a dat materialele sudorului local, în cele din urmă ni l-a lăsat înapoi și este frumos!! Matt și cu mine ne plimbăm în acest moment, pentru că tocmai ne-am conectat deasupra cabinei pe barca noastră!! Ne-am petrecut primele zile cu stâlpul punându-l la loc, tăind flanșa laterală a cabinei și apoi tăind marginile superioare ale stâlpului în sine pentru a se cuibără în partea de sus a cabinei. După ce am prelat exteriorul bărcii pentru a o menține cald, eram gata să ne lipim. Am pregătit 4 litri de metacrilat la început și, cât de repede am putut, Matt îl aplica pe flanșă. Iar cei 4 litri ne-au luat doar la jumătate! A fost încă o cursă contra cronometru, dar la 3 ore de la pornire, aveam toată partea superioară coborâtă, toate golurile umplute și flanșa laterală a cabinei cu crampe în vârf. (Nu vă faceți griji, vom avea o căptușeală drop-down care va ascunde găurile pentru șuruburi.) Uf!! Acesta este un pas URIAȘ înainte pentru noi, iar acum că capacul cabinei este pornit, putem termina puntea podului și începem să ne construim cârma ridicată. Speram sa va placa!! Nice work team! 2 hour pot life is a good working time. Ghee wiz, that's a lot of aria for 2 people to cover. If you have to do another large pour like that again. you can you get the methacrylate in a tube. A static head mixer and an air powered calk gun would take a lot of the work out of the process.

Compression post. Abrade The exposed aluminum with 200 grit scotchbrite pads. Wash with deionized water. Alodine 1500 the whole surface till just golden. Rinse with deionized water and you have a corrosion proof post! Then use use FR etching primer to cover the whole post and it will never corrode unless it is scratched or damaged. Glad to see the progress. You guys are catching up to Ross in Oz with his Granger build! Looking fantastic!
