Buna tuturor! Așa că călătorim pe Intra Coastal Waterway (ICW) cu chila noastră de 6,5’ și catarg de 66’, așa că lucrurile sunt dificile, deoarece trebuie să acordăm o atenție deosebită să nu eșuăm călătorind la maree înaltă, dar totuși să ajungem sub poduri în timpul mareele joase. Nu numai atât, dar dacă trecem prea încet prin poduri joase cu curentul puternic în spatele nostru, putem pierde cu ușurință controlul. Deci, există atât de mulți factori de care trebuie să luăm în considerare atunci când planificăm ICW. A fost atât de distractiv, cu excepția încercării de a nu lovi un pod în barca noastră! Urmărește vlogul nostru de călătorie cu mine Ryan, Brittni și cățelul nostru de salvare Jackson, în timp ce călătorim prin lume cu barca cu pânze, dedicată salvării și găsirii de case iubitoare pentru animalele străzii de-a lungul drumului. I watch a lot of channels like yours and today I asked myself who I would sail with and I among all of them I chose’Sailing Sunday’ because you and your mate are fun and compassionate. And then you go and hit a bridge (facepalm)…sacrificial VhF?? Oh well, you’re still fun!

Sailing vessels and bridges. Always great. Especially in my homecountry where people in Friesland are proud of their own language, which makes it more complex. Real story….didn't happen to me: A guy from Amsterdam comes on to a bridge in Friesland on a sailboat. He asked a local wether it would fit. The local Frisian says: "Ken net". In Dutch that means "Close". In Frisian, however, it means "No". Right. The guy from Amsterdam breaks his mast.
Another top video. Nothing like cutting it close for the bridges. While not necessarily the best for the aerial, at least it's giving you an indication that the actual mast and wind instruments aren't going to hit… as Brittni said, a sacrificial anode (gauge). Enjoy the rest of the ICW… by the looks, you have already. Looking forward to more vids of this part of your trip south. Love the dot paintings.
A little tip for low bridges or shallow depths that you barely clear……lift your dinghy on the side of the boat with a spare halyard and fill the dinghy with water. It should be heavy enough to heal you over for a little extra clearance.

Ha! Just watched this episode as we sit next to you on a mooring in FL!! We are on our first trip down the ICW and I can totally relate to the bridge anxiety! And we are only 62.5' to the top of our antenna! 😉 We are "My Pleasure" the Hunter 44DS next to you!
