Did you ask them why you have had such trouble setting the anchor? There was the big one recently of course that you said was on you because you miscalculated the depth but in earlier episodes you were ranting about how difficult it was to set the anchor and how you've never had to set it 5 times on RR1.

I will not bore you with my story in France. So much worse than your own, you would not believe it. Sea Wind seem to be very conscientious! You are lucky in that regard! Don't misinterpret me but I do think there is an arrogance in Europe that says that is good enough you peasant!

I am reminded of a lesson I learned when considering the question of how many angels can dance on a pin. The answer to that question is not a number. Rather it is a name. Who decides is the real question, not what. Kudos to SeaWind for exemplary customer service. Valuable knowledge.

You choose this lifestyle to have relaxation and all the plus points that go with it
Not to be stressed out sending snag lists to the manufacturers
You will never state, that the manufacturers are bad while trying to get issues sorted (especially) on youtube
I do believe that you are very happy being aboard your new vessel, but this vessel should never, ever have been released to you with all of these faults
Snagging is an absolute disgrace within this product
I know you will get things sorted eventually
But this is not what you signed up for and it does not do what it says on the tin (at the moment)

I had two Wattstunde solar panels almost catch fire mounted on the foredeck of our Bavaria C57. Retrofit so no claim on Bavaria although Wattstunde refunded in full. We now mount our panels on a stern arch. Nightmare to remove the sikaflex and repair.the burnt foredeck.

Guys, I am from Brazil, and I build apartments in Curitiba. I feel that it is really similar to deliver a boat like this complexity of a 25 store building with 84 Apartments. We usually spend the next six months fixing things that should be working better and that we're not perfect designed for the job. I am really sorry for you guys going through this, I love your show, I hope one day you can visit us at "Baia de Paranaguá", Paraná – Brazil

What wouldn't happened if you had just had the boat shipped home? That would've been vastly different. Smart move spending a few months actually sailing it not too far away from the manufacturer.
If you were boat #4 or 5 it'd be something I'd be upset about, but like you said, you're sort of boat 1.5 and #1 when it comes to real sailing time to find stuff. Some of that I'm a bit surprised about, since they aren't new at this, but it's a new design and even superb teams can miss things, like that patch of non slip. It's obvious in retrospect, but an easy detail to miss until someone's actually using the boat.
Hi Nick and Terysa. Thanks for a great video. It is very pleasing to hear that your baptism of fire has been taking care of from the boat builder. Big ups to SeaWind for not only being a top company but being exceptional partners in their new boat and you guy's as new owners. The best boat..car..truck on the market is the one that the company involved involved supports that product. Whew anyway lots of work done and being done, so best of luck and we look forward to you both getting back to sailing and enjoying your journey.

Love this journey of yours. I know in your videos you've underlined the merits of both single hull and Cats. In your opinion, overall is a single hull "easier" than a cat? If it is does , does the "livability" of the make it worth it?
Be interesting to see if Seawind makes these changes on other boats. After all, most of the other owners won't have a Sailing channel documenting their experience as new Seawind owners.
