What ever happened to the older gentleman that seemed to do all of the carpentry work on Yaba for so long?…….always smoking…..and seemed to be of small stature…………I hope he's well and just working on other projects

I managed and repaired electro mechanical devices and electronics (Radar transmitters and repeaters, Transvers and loran) in the Navy and really feel that all adults should have a basic understanding of electricity. Study and understand Ohm's Law is a great start.
MP obviously has a great understanding, not surprising since her Dad is an Electrician

often when you [MP] are saying sailing Yaba, i have been hearing it as 'saving Yaba' which does aound. such a cool boat and project.

Those masts look so heavy. I was so relieved to see that shrouds were added. It’s a strange rig
Not the first one to mention it but the cantilever on that platform needs more support, especially now that you have connected your backstay to it, a bit of wind and a wave hitting the platform from under and there's a big risk it rips off taking the transom and the masts with it

In my carefully considered opinion Ben is a genuine modest hard working focussed gentleman. A good man. MP, I have not seen such real joy expressed by you, before the camera until today! Your beauty and longing really shine when you have been successful & the goal has been scored. As Yaba comes together, to a shining presentation. I see you both shining as you should always too. A real man and his beautiful princess. I look forward to your diving and exploring happily, from Yaba! Thank you for sharing this arduous journey that glowed with promise all the way.
