honestly, doing something like repainting the anchor locker makes a significant difference to air quality and ease of care. It is harder for mold/mildew to grow and it is easier to clean. for the money it is some of the better money you can spend since it is more labor intensive that supply intensive. A+ for self-start initiative! That will take you far in life.
In Dutch we have a saying "measuring is knowing and always check, check double check"
I love Australian. You fix stuff that is all bent n a little "How ya goin" making sure to not "Stuff it up" and if you succeed then "Bobs your Uncle". Cool home gym you have going on there as well, the rings are cool!! The Lyra is my favorite, not so good over paving though.

Won't welding a strap across the top above the rollers foul the anchor from pivoting? Jamming the anchor from dropping in or retrieving the anchor back on board the cradle.

Such a coincidence to see you modifying your bow roller as I was just online looking for ideas to tackle this on my boat and this was top of my feed. Looks like your welding skills have developed fast and the mod design looks like just the thing. Wish I had the welding skills to do stuff like this. I know I can learn, but will never have enough to get reasonable good at it. How well, here’s admiring your work 🍻. Everyone’s doing a great job.
