  1. Its a lovely boat that Chris has got, but I hope he at least re-ties the jib sheet at the clew, looks like its only a thumb knot. Now he has a boat, he will have to learn, at the very least, a bowline…..

  2. That boat with a trailer has to cost at least $30,000.
I’d hate to ding it up like I have every boat I’ve built and the seagoing yachts I’ve owned. But I have them to use, not look at 😆

  3. Great days Paul mucking about with mates and boats in that beautiful place in the world.
    Thanks for taking us along.
Post script I don't know if you follow Chris and Sarah Anne down south he also puts out a great video fir blokes like us.

  4. Another great video. I own the Bayraider 20, they are beautiful boats. Maybe an idea for a video is to go over different rigging types and there benefits. It maybe a little controversial since everyone has there favorites. Also when you guys are planning a cruise before you know wind conditions, in general how far do you plan to go in one day?

  5. Thanks for another calming video. I noticed the built in step or MARLOU’s rudder and it reminded me of the steps on the rudder of my old Herreshoff 31. I don’t know why more boats don’t provide that convenience/safety feature. Being able to climb aboard from the water certainly outweighs any added drag.

  6. Really like the Bay Raider series boats. Still trying to win lotto so I can afford one (sadly). The Welsford Navigator is my other choice, but hard to get second hand in Australia. My last yacht was a Bavaria 32, lovely easy to sail fixed keel boat. However, the cruising dingy offers so much adventure in Australia. There are many rivers to explore on the east coast, then Moreton Bay, Harvey Bay and then the Great Barrier Reef.

  7. Stunning boat. I love the Bayraiders, kind of like a Drascombe Lugger but completely and utterly modernised so they're fast, safe, easy to sail and have some great features. I'll add Iguanas onto the list of dangerous animals/insects that Aus has, but i'm gonna need a new notepad to fit them all in!!!!
