Crazy seas up in Alaska! Worked on a 1000ft tanker "Overseas Boston" in the 90's. 60ft seas off the coast Canada on the way up to Valdez. Thank goodness it was a big ship, could have been real ugly

Great videos! The rocking and rolling brings back (not) good memories from my time serving as an officer on a US Navy destroyer in the Atlantic. If the seas were tossing your huge tanker around, they must have been huge! One question – do you only serve on Jones Act US flagged vessels, or have you ever worked on a foreign flag or non-Jones Act ship?

I worked close to SIU in Piney Point, MD while I worked up the street as an engineer at NAWCADPAX from 1996 to 2017. Did you ever go up to the Tiki Bar in Solomons while you were there?
