That boy has a good bit of marine engineering or power engineering in his blood or has done a lot of different trade work. I am impressed and I have been at this type of work for 50 years and worked on many projects,, very nice work.

"big ships leak alot of water all the time" as a international cargo ship sailor I have to say; no, we don't. not a drop.
I got to sail a Formosa from st Pete Florida to Huston Texas it was a little bit different it was a center cockpit but still a nice boat. I really liked the trip and the boat. The 51 feet is NOT length over all. I think Formosa uses length at water line. So overall is like 60+ feet. Its a huge and beautiful boat.

Just remember, the sea is an unforgiving element and quite indiscriminate so be prepared and most redundant in everything.
