If you guys look at Starlink, it’s $600 for the box and $150 per month for the subscription. It’s not cheap, but you can live stream and make zoom calls WHILE AT SEA and get live weather in real time.
What a great way to learn from a master. you will have such a better inside to your new boat. How great are Frank and Mary Grace to let you be guest. They really know their way around.
That wind was AWA not TWA.. so your real windangle was over 50, almost 60 degrees which is not very good. Ofcourse your apparent wind goes high as your speed is good, AWA = TWA + the wind your boat makes..

I have a question? All these boats you've been on over the years & there, some, are not on YouTube, which that doesn't matter, how do you not know if there murders or going to take you out to sea & put a chain around your waist & push you overboard @ dark thirty?

Have a wonderful time. I like these people of TTR. They do seem very nice I want to go on there boat. Do you think they would take me? I've been on the water since I was 2yo. My Dad, Mom, & I build a houseboat, with a motor & the whole dock would go & camouflage on a beach & we would be the only one who had a generator so they all would plug into us. There was only one other kid & he was younger then me. When my Dad passed away his stupid wife sold the boat, the house, & the cars/trucks. Yeah the stepchild got nothing. I sure miss going to the houseboat & taking my kids down there. We did the camping thing with are 2 kids & 5 dogs all in a 24 foot camper. We take are 2 boats Ranger fish & ski, Mom's boat, & a fishing boat, Dad's boat bc he stayed out all night fishing & us & the kids could stay awake after we played all day on the tube. I even had a poodle that rode the tube with the kids. Yes she had a life jacketon too.. My 2 baby girls was born @ the lake, in the camper on Mother's day. Now that was exciting for us all. I called my husband, bc he was fishing for crappie that springtime, & told him we was having puppies. So exciting. We had 4 but one died. Cute little boy. 1st time litter & sorry I wasn't giving it mouth to mouth. I did try everything to save it but it wasn't meant to be. I did get two wonderful baby girls with the last one passing this July 2022 just 3 days after my birthday, she was 15 yo. There will never be two more like them two under 10lbs never. Tiny toy poodles are great & Snickers & Ginger will always be in my heart.
I've got a new girl now & I've named her Pipa. She's half Yorkie & Bichon. She looks like one of those Parfie poodles that are black & white. She's tiny & loves to be held. Like all puppies….. lol…
