1. Patience and preparation and explanation!! Plus a relaxed crossing obviously.
    Your experience shines thro.
    And video quality great too.
Just watched on a phone as I’m prepping AquaBlue in Rompido. David B

  2. Arie, this was cool video. I like how you put the underside patch on the back. I don’t know what mistake you made with hoisting up the spinnaker…I don’t know how to sail.
Great footage of the bow and ammas gliding over the water.
I like how you explained how the wind works with the sails. Very interesting and entertaining.

    Keep posting your Journey.

  3. so many sailors are in a rush to get here and there. You are not. That's what I like about your channel. go with the flow and chill out. Love your videos bro

  4. It's been awhile but it looks like oh man can't remember got to go back in the logs but it looks like a gal about the middle on the Eastside of Brazil I'll start digging she was great even use UV threading I get back with you

That is a good side note make sure whoever is doing the repairs are using UV resistant threads for the stitching

  5. Beautiful sailing, so nice to see dawn romping along like that 👍

BTW we don't call it butterfly in English, we usually call it "wing on wing" when the main and genoa are on opposite sides of the boat, but don't worry it was clear what you meant.

  6. As well seen there is so little asymmetricin this sail..only in the bottom…but it's there.. an so it's not symmetric but also not good Asymmetric as we know today…is it a early try out? Or looking at the colours a adjusted symmetric??

  7. Wonderful sailing. Lovely colours on that spinny! Congratulations on getting that sorted! You are really living the dream! I have yet to fly mine because I was on a tiny lake and need more leeway in case things go wrong. I'm now on the O. Schelde so there's more room to sort stuff out.

  8. Hi there folks
After the effort and discomfort of living on that sandbar ; this passage must be restoring your souls. Thanks for keeping us posted.
The boat looks happy to be riding those swells too.
