I don’t understand the comments about boat “problems”. I owned a B411. Bought new. Not first boat. Lived onboard for about 6 months once. Sailed ME to FL Keys and back again 3 times. +10k NM over 5 years. Loved it. Of course, there were problems! #1. Beneteau is production boat. Meant for weekend boozecruisers, charter, sailing in a 50 mi radius for about 10 years. They break.
Seeing how easy and comfortable this passage has been really makes me question the need for a “performance” boat. What’s the point in sailing 15 knots if everyone is beat up and uncomfortable? If you have been watching your barometer, y’all have probably been in the 1090’s and above. You could have gotten there quicker below the 1070’s, but I also think your opinions on passages would be vastly different. As it’s said, the most dangerous thing on a boat is a schedule. I believe the planning and preparation for this passage has paid off tremendously, along with the decisions made about the route throughout. Kudos to you all.

A question for you. Have you guys seen “The Green Flash”. I’ve been fortunate to work in the marine environment my whole working life and a I’ve only seen it a few times. Most people think it’s a myth or b.s when you explain it to them. It’s when in the right conditions the sun refracts through the water at the horizon as the sun sets. I once saw it really glow a bright emerald green.

My dog roxy loves fishing as much as penny. When we go to a fishing lodge with her she will not move until we have caught a fish and she cries in excitement when we have one on the line. It's so cute. She is very old now and has recently lost her hearing, but that doesn't stop her. Love watching your dogs x x x

By the time I weigh anchor or pull away from the dock….. all of my crew can tie a single hand bowline…. try that one. Comes in handy when needing to tie to a mooring ball while reaching down and hanging on to the boat….. or more importantly… tying a bowline while holding your drink. 😎👍🥃🍺🍹🍷🍸

IMO, What makes interesti9ng viewing is honesty and sincerity, Expedition Evans, Sailing Uma and Millennial Falcon. The messages to everyone, Live a board sailing is fantastic however, It's not Strawberries and Champaine. It's dedication, loyalty, honesty and the longer you're on the water together you develop an unquestionable reliance upon each other because the decisions are equally made. When shit hits the fan what really shines is the inner strength you have each other. Things are busy, you're both really busy!! the split second eye contact "We've got this"! is a wonderful experience shared equally.
This will be my second boat, partners first. We developed the plan "Puffin" (Troppo Photos Facebook) A boat and being locked down in Melbourne. The most locked down city on the planet. We'd placed four offers on suitable boats. Two vessels were Cat 1 level. The lockdown was lifted. Right, let's go look at a boat. Bang! Locked down. The spending that went vertical into the billions and billions treasury is red. Generally, Melbourne and the entire state is tense. Concerts recommenced 2022. The punters living in Victoria and Melbourne city are getting belted again increased taxes by 50% its expected to be over 100% before June 2024.
My partner had decided I was never going to buy a boat and disappeared June 2022.
