Acum ne-am dori să putem spune că este „navigație lină” de aici… dar cu siguranță nu este cazul. Pentru orice pasaj sunt sute de lucruri de pregătit și am ratat unul, unul mare! Este a doua oară când navigăm în altă țară și cu siguranță am făcut o greșeală de începător. Luați în considerare această lecție învățată. Și pentru că ne lipseau documentele, ne-au acuzat că am furat-o pe Eva. Nu am difuzat videoclipurile de reconstrucție pentru a arăta că transpirația și lacrimile noastre de sânge sunt literalmente în miezul ei, dar am fost tentați! Vă mulțumim că ați rezistat prin această încercare a unui episod. Am fost EXTREM de ezitând chiar și să-l postăm. Știm că ne deschidem la o grămadă de critici, dar credem că este important să arătăm câte ceva din răul care vine cu tot binele acestui stil de viață. It's only human to feel a failure, especially in the heat of the moment. Then common sense takes over, and you see things more rationally. You are an intelligent family, but you make mistakes like everyone else. You just pulled off an amazing achievement making that voyage. Kudos to you both.
Regarding family – if you want to go by definition, then one definition is a married couple. I would regard you as a family. But really, does it matter? You are who you are, and that is a wonderful couple doing fantastic things together. It would, I think, be fantastic if you had kids – they would have amazing parents and amazing times, though it would rather curtail your adventures, and the world would have some more interesting people in it.

Could be worse… your wife could have told you she doesn't love you anymore after almost 40 years of marriage, you're losing the life you built together, and you're stuck in a dismal cubicle wondering why and how this all happened. Thank you for sharing the true issues of cruising. You may have saved numerous boats from having the same issue. I do recommend learning to change plans if you plan on cruising a sailboat. Sailboats are notorious for having to modify schedules based on maintenance or weather. Have you started working on your spare and maintenance stores?
